The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose by 0.02% or 0.89 point to 4,649.00, while the broader all-share index was up by 0.02% or 0.56 point to 3,145.68.

Most subindices also advanced at Friday's opening, led by mining and oil that added 0.17% or 43.46 points to 25,350.74. Financials and industrial also advanced by 0.08% or or 5.88 points to 7,344.49 and 0.07% or 0.72 point to 1,034.14, while services climbed by 0.01% or 0.24 point to 1,742.84.

Holding firms and property, meanwhile, opened flat at 3,695.01 and 1,622.71, respectively.

The PSEi added 0.05% or 2.25 points to close at an all-time high of 4,648.11 yesterday, surpassing Wednesday's then-record of 4,645.86. The broader all-share index, however, slipped by 0.19% or 5.99 points to close at 3,145.12.
